Military, religious ceremony at Tomb of Unknown Soldier in Carol Park, downtown Bucharest
Publicat:A military and religious wreaths ceremony took place on Friday morning at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Carol Park, downtown Bucharest, to mark the National Day, an event attended by the heads of the two Chambers of the Parliament, the Senate's Calin Popescu-Tariceanu and the Chamber of Deputies' Liviu Dragnea, alongside the Ambassador of the United States of America in Bucharest Hans Klemm.
The wreaths ceremony in honour of the nation's heroes was preceded by the singing of the state anthem and a religious service delivered by a group of priests.
