JusMin Gorghiu: Romania has millions of drug consumers; they must be helped not jailed
Publicat:The Minister of Justice, Alina Gorghiu, on Friday stated that there are "millions of drug users" in Romania, according to the National Anti-Drug Agency, and these people cannot be all sent to prison because they consume such substances, but they must be helped to get rid of this problem instead.
"Just consider that there are millions of users in Romania and I think that they must be helped to escape their addiction. We cannot put millions of people in prison because they consume drugs. It is important to help them escape their addiction," Alina Gorghiu told at Digi 24 private television broadcaster.…
