Government spends more on education?!

Starting next month, all children aged 3 to 6 years-old may receive a 50 lei education allowance provided they attend kindergarten. Parents must submit the necessary papers and make sure children attend at least 50 percent of their monthly classes. The law will come into force next month, after its publication in the of Romania. 11 thousand children might benefit from this measure and the necessary money will be distributed by local authorities as of March.  39 million lei from the state budget will be earmaked for this purpose.
