Romanian Craciun wins ITF women's circuit Sozopol Open
Publicat:Romanian Georgia Andreea Craciun on Sunday won the singles title in the ITF women's circuit Sozopol Open featuring 15,000 dollars in prize money, as she defeated in the finals Turkey's Ilay Yoruk 6-2, 6-1.
Second seed 19-year old Craciun (557th in the WTA rankings) worked her way to the victory past Bulgarian Ani Vangelova whom she defeated 6-2, 4-6, 6-1 in the first round; Russian Polina Akimova whom she ousted 6-1, 6-4 in the round of 16; next bested fellow Romanian Oana Gavrila 6-2, 6-0 in the quarterfinals; and No. 4 seed, Russian Ana Ukolova, in the semifinals.
