Publicat:Judge Bogdan Mateescu, the current president of the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM), on Thursday was elected to act as interim head of the same institution, sources from the Council told AGERPRES.
According to these sources, the plenum of the Council voted on Thursday for an interim president just in case that the Section for judges fails to meet and come up with a proposal for the office of president of the CSM by January 6, when the current term in office of Mateescu expires.
