ANPC slaps fines worth RON 450,000 on energy companies that issued illegal bills to individuals

The National Consumer Protection Authority (ANPC) imposed fines amounting to RON 450,000 on a number of 27 companies supplying electricity and natural gas, during the controls carried out by the of the institution from January 6 to 13, mentions a press release sent on Friday by ANPC, Agerpres reports. In this first week of controls, the ANPC commissioners checked 72 workstations of the energy supply economic operators from the whole country, mentions the release.
