More than 40 M lei damage caused to Romanian state by Bulgarian companies not paying their VAT
Publicat:A damage of 40.694 million lei, representing the total amount that 14 Bulgarian companies should have paid to the Romanian state as VAT, was estimated by anti-fraud inspectors from the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF), according to a press release sent to AGERPRES on Tuesday. According to the same source, between February 1, 2020 - November 30, 2020, in an attempt to avoid paying their tax obligations, the said 14 companies simulated that they bought used cars in Bulgaria, while the delivery and registration was actually done in Romania, with transactions not being declared.
