Volume of construction works down as gross series 4.1pct, 11 months into 2018
Publicat:The volume of construction works decreased by 4.1 percent in unadjusted terms and by 2.6 percent as adjusted for working days and seasonality in the first eleven months of 2018 as compared to the same period in 2017, according to data released by the National Institute of Statistics (INS) on Tuesday.
The drop, as gross series, was reflected in new construction works (-8.5 percent). Increases were recorded in maintenance and current repairs works (+7.6 percent) and capital repairs works (+2.6 percent).
