Romania exports 12 mln tonnes of grains worth over 2.2bn euro, to EU, third countries, in 2018

Romania exported more than 12 million tonnes of grains to the and third countries last year, by a million tonnes more than in the previous year, with receipts exceeding 2.2 billion euro, according to the data provided by the Ministry of Agriculture and at AGERPRES' request. 
In 2018, the most important export destinations were Spain, Egypt, Italy, , Jordan, Germany and Libya

On the other hand, grain imports totaled 1.4 million tonnes last year, and the amounts spent amounted to 320 million euro. Most imported grains came from Bulgaria
