As many as 1,775 servicemen and 1,867 gendarmes and police staff to participate in missions abroad
Publicat:The Supreme Council for National Defence (CSAT) has greenlighted on Tuesday a plan for the use of the Romanian Armed Forces that are deployed on missions and operations abroad in 2018, according to a press release of the Presidential Administration.
The National Defence Ministry will participate in 2018, outside the borders of the Romanian state with 1,775 servicemen, by 286 more servicemen than last year. The military can be deployed in theatres of operations as well as in individual observation and monitoring missions. Another 233 servicemen will be in the country, on stand-by for deployment.
