Number of subscribers to TV services, up 2.5% in H1 to 7.3 mln
Publicat:Some 98% of all households in Romania benefited in the first half of this year from paid re-broadcasting services of audiovisual programmes, with over 7.3 million subscribers, on the rise by 2.5% over the same period in 2016, show the statistics with the National Authority for Administration and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM), made public on Wednesday.
According to the cited data, most subscribers (4.9 million) are cable ones, 2.4 million are subscribers to satellite networks (DTH), and 106,000 are IP (IPTV) subscribers.
