Romania's FMGC market expands 7pct in 2017 amidst rising prices

Romania's market for fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) expanded 7 percent in 2017, driven by rising prices instead of rising purchases, as was the case in 2016, according to a study by market research company GfK.
The study shows that in 2017 Romanian consumers turned to higher-priced products, a phenomenon called up-trading.
