PNL demands Ombudsman to ask Constitutional Court's opinion on Tax Code amendments
Publicat:The liberals have submitted on Monday a notification to the Ombudsman to ask for the opinion of the Constitutional Court of Romania regarding the exception of unconstitutionality of the OUG (Emergency Ordinance of Gov't) referring to the Tax Code amendments.
"Right now we can only ask the Ombudsman to notify the Constitutional Court," the National Liberal Party (PNL)'s spokesman, Ionel Danca said.
In his turn, the PNL Deputy Ioan Cupsa specified that the OUG on the amendments of the Tax Code is violating the fundamental Law, that is the Constitution of Romania.
