Parliament / Mihai Weber - elected chairman of SIE activity supervision committee
Publicat:Parliament decided in a plenary session on Tuesday, the appointment of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) MP Mihai Weber in the position of chairman of the Special Parliamentary Committee for the control of the activity of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SIE).
The vote was secret with ballots. There were 311 votes in favor and 43 against.
Weber replaces USR (Save Romania Union) MP Nicu Falcoi, who took over the chairmanship of the Parliamentary Committee of December 1989 Revolutionaries.
