Alive and kicking 15 years after transplant
Publicat:The first infant to receive a new liver in Romania is a healthy teenager now. 15 years after the transplant that was a medical first in this country, Timea is leading a normal life. She's a highschool student and a passionate archer, just like her father. She got a new lease of life thanks to two people: her mother, who donated part of her liver and doctor Irinel Popescu, who performed the life-saving surgery.
