Simona Halep leader in WTA ranking for 56th consecutive week

Romanian tennis player ranks first in the WTA ranking for the 56th consecutive week, as announced on Monday.

Halep is ranking 10th in the all-time ranking, but, by the end of the year, she is expected to get closer to the 9th position currently held by Wozniacki, with 71 weeks.

The top 10 didn't suffer any change from the previous release of the ranking, while climbed up on the 11th positions and on the 12th, after went down two sports, now raking 13th.
