The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) announces that Romanian firefighters in Corsica are involved in extinguishing a wildfire that broke out near Corte, told Agerpres.
According to an IGSU press release, this is the first mission of Romanian firefighters in Corsica.
"As of 14:15, the national module specialised in extinguishing wildfires was alerted, through the French liaison officer, to extinguish a forest fire that broke out near Corte," the source said.
