Primary energy production up 2.9% in 2021, imports of energy resources up 13.8%
Publicat:Primary energy production increased last year by 2.9% compared to the previous year, imports of energy resources increased by 13.8%, gross internal energy consumption increased by 6%, and final energy consumption registered an advance of 7.9%, according to the data published on Wednesday by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).According to INS data, the total energy resources available in 2021 registered an increase compared to the previous year, accumulating 43.2 million tons of oil equivalent (toe), both primary energy production and imports of energy products registering increases.
