Official statistics: Job vacancies increase to 38,400 in Q1
Publicat:Job vacancies in Q1 2021 stood at 38,400, by 2,800 more than in the year-ago period, according to data released on Wednesday by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
The job vacancy rate in Q1 was 0.79 percent, up 0.06 percentage points from the previous quarter and 0.05 percentage points less YoY, as the the number of vacancies was by 3,400 less than in the prior year period.
According to the INS, the job vacancy rate was highest in public administration (2 percent), entertainment, cultural and leisure activities (1.6 percent), health and social assistance (1.55 percent).
