Nationwide unemployment rate - 4.04% at end-October
Publicat:The nationwide unemployment rate was 4.04% at end-October 2017, down by 0.10 percentage points from September and by 0.72 percentage points from October 2016, the National Employment Agency (ANOFM) informs on Wednesday.
Of the 353,292 persons registered with the territorial employment agencies, 66,081 were on unemployment benefits.
Compared to the previous month, men's unemployment rate decreased from 4.37% in September 2017 to 4.23%, and women's unemployment rate fell from 3.88% in September to 3.82%.
