December's overdue loan payments down 2.6 pct in domestic RON, 3.74 pct in foreign currency
Publicat:Overdue loans - both corporate and individual - in domestic RON amounted to RON 4.265 billion in December 2021, down 2.6% from the amount reported in the previous month, while arrears on foreign currency loans fell by 3.74% to RON 1.315 billion (equivalent), according to the National Bank of Romania (BNR).
Total loans in RON were, in December, RON 235.022 billion (1.3% above the value of the previous month), of which RON 93.239 billion were amounts contracted by economic agents and RON 136.855 billion loans taken by the population.
