Romania remains country with higest percentage of homeowners in EU
Publicat:Over 96% of the population in Romania in 2020 lived in their personal property, being the largest percentage registered among the member states of the European Union, according to the data published by Eurostat on Thursday, agerpres reports. While at the level of the European Union, 69.7% of people were living in the home they owned, with a slight drop from 69.8% in 2019, in Romania the tendency is opposite, the percentage of those living in their personal homes going up from 95.8% to 96.1%.
