Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu said on Thursday that this year, for the first time, the Romanian language is celebrated as the state language on both banks of the Prut.

"Today, we are celebrating , and I think it is a very important moment. This year is the first time that the Romanian language is celebrated as the state language on both banks of the Prut," Ciolacu said at the beginning of a government meeting.
