The Government will mark this year's World Children's Day by lighting up the Victoria Governmental Palace in blue, the symbolic colour of this important day.
According to a press release issued by the Executive, at the initiative of UNICEF, the World Children's Day is celebrated around the world every year on 20 November, and marks the adoption of the United Nations Declaration of the Rights of the Child in 1989, Romania being one of the first signatories.
