Romania's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate dips to 5.4 pct in August
Publicat:Romania's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in August this year stood at 5.4 percent, down 0.1 percent from the previous month, shows data released on Monday by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
The number of unemployed (aged 15 - 74) as of the end of August 2023 was estimated at 446,600, on a decline from the previous month (455,400) and also compared to August 2022 (448,900). By gender, the gap between male and female unemployment rates was of 1 percentage points (5.9 percent for men, as to 4.9 percent for women).
