The number of companies that suspended their activity in the first eight months of 2023 was 10,139, up 5.64% compared to the same period in 2022, according to data published by the (ONRC).

Most companies that suspended their activity in the mentioned interval were from Bucharest, namely 1,231 (up 21.4% compared to January-August 2022).
