GCS: COVID-19 case count rises by 2,844, 8,709 tests carried out in past 24h

A number of 2,844 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 were registered, since to the previous report, following the processing of 8,709 tests at the national level, the (GCS) informs on Monday.

These are cases that have not previously had a positive test, says GCS.

As of Monday, 212,492 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus have been confirmed in Romania.

A total of 151,811 people were declared cured.

According to the GCS, to date, 3,064,698 tests for SARS-CoV-2 infection have been processed nationwide. Of these, 8,709…
