Farmers will have no problems regarding grain imports from Ukraine for 30 days (Agriculture minister)

The minister of Agriculture, , on Monday night gave assurances to Romanian farmers that for 30 days no grain of wheat or corn from Ukraine will enter Romania, and the only ones who will benefit from licensing in the cereal area will be Romanian farmers and processors.

At the end of the meeting with the Romanian farmers' associations, minister Barbu said he will convey to his Ukrainian counterpart the point of view of the ministry and the regarding the licensing of Romanian companies, adding that the only ones who can benefit from these licenses are Romanian farmers
