Two cases of bluetongue and nine susceptible animals have been reported in non-commercial holdings from Botosani County area, near the border with Ukraine, and the other two farms in southern Hungary, Somogy and Baranya provinces near the border with Croatia. Although only four cases were reported, 1,634 cattle are considered vulnerable, most of which are in the Baranya farm.
